What we collect
What you tell us. When you submit an enquiry or request a site visit, we ask for your name and phone number. You may also choose to give us your email address, your area in Pune, the service you are interested in, and a short message. Name and phone are required; everything else is optional and the form works without it.
What your browser sends. When an enquiry is submitted we record the IP address it came from and your browser’s user-agent string. We use these only to limit how many submissions can come from one source in an hour, which is what keeps the form from being flooded by bots.
What we do not collect. This website runs no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not set cookies to profile you, we do not build an advertising audience from your visit, and we never sell or rent personal information.
Why we use it
We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, prepare a quotation, carry out work you engage us for, and keep an ordinary business record of the job. If you gave us an email address, we also send you an acknowledgement confirming your enquiry reached us.
We do not send marketing emails or promotional messages to people who simply filled in the enquiry form.
Who else can see it
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. It is shared only with the service providers that make the website and our email work, and only to the extent each one needs:
- Website hosting — our host serves the site and processes form submissions.
- Enquiry database — enquiries are stored in a managed database so nothing is lost if an email fails.
- Email delivery — our email provider delivers the enquiry to us and the acknowledgement to you.
- Google Maps — our contact page embeds a Google map. Loading that map means Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, governed by Google’s privacy policy rather than ours.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records while we are in touch with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can honour warranties, answer questions about completed work and meet tax and accounting obligations. When a record is no longer needed for any of those purposes, we delete it. You can ask us to delete your details sooner — see below.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your details from our records;
- withdraw consent you previously gave, at any time — this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
Email info@perfecthomedecor.in and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS, enquiries travel encrypted, and the enquiry database and email accounts are access-controlled. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care and we limit what we collect in the first place — the less we hold, the less there is to lose.
Children
Our services are intended for adults arranging work on their property. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
